Newly appointed Business Live Global (BLG) Chairman and multiple business owner, Lee Tunney-Ware, together with BLG Founder, Victoria Beale, have recently acquired East Midlands based The Circle Club in their first deal of 2023.
Speaking of the acquisition, BLG Founder and President, Victoria Beale, said, “When Alexandra Slack, Founder of The Circle Club, first reached out to me I was immediately interested. We’ve known each other for years and I know Alexandra to be a person of huge integrity, well respected across the East Midlands and phenomenally well connected. In The Circle Club Alexandra has built up a private members business club with a great reputation. I had already completely bought into her vision so when she approached me with an offer to sell The Circle Club to the BLG network it was an immediate ‘yes’ from me!
“BLG and The Circle Club complement each other perfectly. The Circle Club offers breakfast networking. BLG offers monthly online virtual lunchtime networking as well as bi-monthly live lunches and quarterly entrepreneur-focussed events at The Houses Of Parliament. Members of BLG will automatically be able to visit The Circle Club events and vice versa. This deal is all about adding significant value to all our members and I personally think this deal is great news for the East Midlands. It brings together two fabulous organisations and The Circle Club members will now have the opportunity to reach the global audience BLG offers.
“Acquisition will be featuring heavily for BLG throughout 2023. Together with my Chairman, Lee Tunney-Ware, we’re on the lookout for smaller, individual networking groups who are interested in partnership and/or acquisition. If that sounds like you then, please, get in touch and let’s talk further!”
Added Lee, “I was excited when Victoria brought this deal to me to look at. I implicitly trust Victoria’s judgement and when I met Alexandra for myself I was equally impressed. She has set up an incredible organisation that has all the necessary systems and processes in place. For me it was an absolute no brainer for us to go ahead with the purchase. I’m very much looking forward to meeting all The Circle Club members. I’ve been working with and coaching entrepreneurs for many, many years now and can’t wait to help these members reach their optimum success.”
Commenting on the acquisition Alexandra Slack said, “It’s been a privilege and a joy founding and growing The Circle Club. So much business has been passed since the club was set up nearly three years ago. I absolutely know that Victoria and her team will look after The Circle Club and its members helping it to grow exponentially and introducing The Circle Club members to the opportunities and benefits of being a part of BLG. I look forward to seeing their success and to hearing many stories of members growing their businesses internationally whilst keeping the main ethos of the club ‘Better Together Through Reciprocity’!”
Alexandra will be taking a sabbatical for six months but will be continuing her roles as Chair of Trustees for Leicestershire-based charity, Alex’s Wish, and Tempus Group Villages.
