Lamp is a small charity established in 1989 with local reach, having a positive effect on the lives of those experiencing mental health conditions, ranging from Anxiety and Depression to Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder. Lamp’s help is also extended to carers who are struggling with their mental health, as well as supporting inpatients at mental health units to empower them to speak up about their care. Advocacy is a process of supporting and enabling people to;

• Express their views and concerns

• Access information and services

• Defend and promote their rights

• Explore choices and options”
