What are Members’ Meetings?
Every month we host a separate Members’ Meeting in each County. These relaxed, positive and friendly networking events feature either an educational workshop from an expert Guest Speaker or an interactive team-building exercise.
These meetings are a place for you to come together with the other members, share business advice/support, increase your reach, learn from our expert Guest Speakers, expand your network and build on any existing business connections. Each meeting includes:
- Either an educational workshop hosted by an expert Guest Speaker OR an interactive and informal team-building exercise encouraging the formation of organic business and personal connections between attendees.
- The chance to introduce yourself and your business to the group.
- Complimentary tea, coffee and pastries.
- Multiple networking opportunities.
- A 10-minute ‘Member in the Circle’ speaking slot.
- The opportunity to stay accountable for your goals by setting an accountability with us at the end of the meeting. We’ll check in with you at the next month’s meeting to see how you got on!
Our Member’s Meetings are also a safe place for you to voice any problems or concerns you may have. These concerns will then be discussed by the group who offer honest, strategic feedback to help you to move forward and grow faster.
Non-members are permitted to attend just one Members’ Meeting as a guest before signing up. They can do this by registering for their desired meeting on Eventbrite and selecting the ‘Free Event Pass’ option at the checkout. When do they take place?
The Leicestershire Members’ Meetings take place on the second Friday of every month. The meetings officially run from 9am-11am however you are welcome to arrive anytime after 8:30am to make the most of the networking opportunities.
Where do they take place?
Each Leicester Members’ Meeting takes place at one of our Suggested Venues. These are trusted Leicestershire-based venues which we would recommend to anyone when hosting their own event, conference or training day. Visiting a wide range of venues allows us to showcase some of the amazing options Leicestershire has to offer.

How do I access the sessions?
You will always be registered automatically for all Members’ Meetings in your county, all you need to do is tell us if you can’t make it.

Tier 2, Tier 3 or the Commitment Tier (for Loyal Members).
Which Membership Tiers do not include these events?
Tier 1.
When are the Leicester Members’ Meetings?
The second Friday of every month.
When are the Derby Members’ Meetings?
The third Wednesday of every month.
How frequent are Members’ Meetings?
Once a month in each county.
Do I have to be a member to attend?
Yes, however we do offer all non-members a one-time-only free taster session.
How many times can a non-member use a ‘Free Event Pass’?
Just once.
Can I attend Members’ Meetings in other counties?
Yes. If you are a member of Tier 3 or the Commitment Tier (for loyal members) you will receive 4 x ‘Cross-County Passes’ per year. These ‘Cross-County Passes’ allow the bearer to attend Members’ Meeting in other counties.

If you are a member of Tier 1 or Tier 2 in just one county, you are not permitted to attend other Members’ Meetings outside of your county.
How long are the meetings?
Officially 9am-11am, however, you are welcome to arrive anytime after 8:30am and can stay until 11:30am to make the most of the networking opportunities.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just your business cards!
What time do the meetings start?
Officially 9am however, we recommend arriving half an hour before to make the most of the networking opportunities (and for first dibs on the pastries)!
How will I know where to park?
Most venues we visit have onsite parking, however, instructions will always be sent out in the automated reminder emails through Eventbrite.
Is there a dress code?
Absolutely not! As these meetings tend to take place during work hours most attendees arrive in smart casual attire however, we have no dress code so please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Are the meetings formal?
No. We encourage a relaxed, friendly and positive environment as we believe this is the key to forming organic and lasting business relationships.
How many people usually attend Members’ Meetings?
It varies dramatically from meeting to meeting, county to county but we usually expect an average of between 15 to 30 attendees.
Can I join online?
No. We don’t offer an online option for these events as we feel the major benefits lie in attending in person.
As a member of The Circle Club, do I need to register myself for these sessions?
No. Members’ Meetings are only included for members in Tier 2 or above. If you qualify for these meetings you will be registered automatically. Please just let us know if you are unable to attend.
How do I access the event?
After registering via Eventbrite you will receive a confirmation email which contains the details of the venue. Please make your own way to the location specific to the Members’ Meeting at the time of the event. You will also receive multiple reminder emails in the run-up to the event.
I am planning to attend a Members’ Meeting but haven’t received any emails – what should I do?
